37.5 hours per week
Reporting To Director

We are an ambitious and fast growing business looking for additional support to grow our diverse team.

Main objectives for the role include:

  • Create functional websites that look good, convert well and are mobile responsive ensuring HTML/CSS is cross-browser and standards compliant.
  • Update existing client websites.
  • Provide support to clients with the running of their websites.
  • Look after our support helpdesk dealing with client support tickets.
  • Communicate via email with clients, and telephone when required.
  • Communicate regularly with other team members.

Person requirements

  • Highly creative, appreciate usability and are aware of current design trends.
  • Portfolio of your web design work.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Confident, positive and friendly with excellent interpersonal skill.
  • Passion for web design.

Essential Skills / Experience / Qualities:

  1. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in designing websites.
  2. Basic knowledge of Adobe Graphic suite Photoshop / Illustrator etc.
  3. You have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and jQuery or JavaScript.
  4. Responsive website development.
  5. Experienced designing / developing WordPress or similar.
  6. Experience managing clients’ websites and ability to support client queries.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.
  8. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  9. Dedication to work hard to achieve the best solution for our clients. A mature confident, energetic and self-motivated individual.

Desirable Skills / Experience / Qualities:

  1. Basic understanding of PHP and database concepts.
  2. Experience with Magento & ecommerce.
  3. Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics etc.
  4. Third-party APIs (e.g. Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter etc).
  5. Ability to work under pressure.
  6. Must have a good personality and be a team player. We have a low staff turnover and a very team-focused atmosphere, with good work/life balance.
