Stone mason launches ecommerce shop with eBusiness UK

We are delighted to announce that we have begun work with Chatsworth, a Keighley-based stone mason involved in a number of fascinating products.

Chatsworth previously sold its fireplaces, stoves and surrounds through the eBay marketplace. While this is a great method for reaching new audiences, the company wanted to host its own ecommerce store, too.

A self-hosted store gives the owner more control, reduces cost per sale, and is a more effective brand-building tool than selling through a third party.

We set to work building a custom store, which can now be browsed online at www.chatsworthstovesandsurrounds.co.uk.

The site features professional photography, category pages to make products easy to find and a completely secure payment process, meaning customers can make their purchases with peace of mind.

This will be backed up by a comprehensive search engine optimisation plan to increase the company’s visibility online and further drive up sales.

Nasir Kothia, eBusiness UK’s development director, said: “Chatsworth is a great company producing a wide range of products, from fireplace surrounds all the way through to the domes that sit on top of mosques.

“The company has employed a very successful growth strategy to date and the next logical step was to build their own ecommerce site so that they could retain greater control over their online sales.

“We have built a beautiful site and have begun promoting it. We have a few more ideas in the pipeline, including exploring new marketplaces and introducing a stock and order management system to reduce the workload of selling online. It’s a very exciting time for Chatsworth and we’re proud that they chose to partner with eBusiness UK.”
