Blackburn-based web development agency seoBusiness has been enlisted to help celebrated chef and entrepreneur Paul Heathcote to launch a new hub for North West food and drinks specialists.
The new venture, launched by Heathcote & Co, will create a “one-stop-shop” where chefs and other industry professionals can showcase and market their services for individuals looking to host events.
Paul, who has worked within the catering sector for 30 years, explained: “We work with a lot of talented chefs who receive requests for large events, but their venues often aren’t big enough to accommodate.
“A lot of customers want to host weddings, anniversaries and milestone birthday parties on Fridays and Saturdays, but those are when venues are at their busiest. This new hub will enable the chefs to provide their specialist services without sacrificing these important nights.”
The hub is set to launch just as the last of the government’s lockdown restrictions have been removed, which has proven an extremely difficult period for the hospitality trade.
“These businesses have largely been closed for two years – they’ve missed two Christmases,” said Paul. “This new hub will facilitate direct access to new customers and will hopefully go some way towards making up for that lost time.”
seoBusiness has previously worked with the chef, building a showcase website for his new events venue in Preston, 23 Winckley Square.
This new website will feature dedicated microsites for each business that signs up. Through social media and search engine marketing, Heathcote & Co will be able to raise their profile, doing the hard work of marketing while they focus on running their business.
