An award-winning website solution company is building a premier internet business network as it expands its market–leading service in West Yorkshire.
Internet expert eBusiness UK has extended its operation with a new franchise in Norwood Green, Halifax, operated by David Laycock and Glenn Ackroyd.
From its head office in Lancashire, eBusiness UK has been successfully operating for over a decade, offering a range of services including professional web design and development, search engine marketing, e-commerce solutions, search engine marketing and bespoke web application development.
David Laycock will front the new franchise and Glenn Ackroyd will oversee all operations and, together, the businessmen will use their wealth of experience to assist businesses that are looking for digital marketing solutions in Halifax, Huddersfield and the surrounding area.
With over 20 years’ experience in customer sales at Barclays, David was responsible for the company’s business strategies and systems and was a key player in developing its online presence.
Since leaving the bank, David’s role as a business consultant has seen him expand SMEs nationwide through web design, e-commerce and marketing solutions, which puts him in good stead for a future with eBusiness UK.
After 13 years as a lawyer at Rice Jones Solicitors, Glenn became a director and partner of online property company, A Quick Sale, in 2005, where his wealth of experience in the legal sector helps offer clients with invaluable property-related advice.
Having committed to a 25 year season ticket, the avid Bradford City fan is also associate director of the football club.
“The reason why I wanted to get involved with eBusiness UK’s franchising is because I’ve seen what a good website can do for business,” said Glenn.
“Having firsthand experience of seeing A Quick Sale grow through our online presence, I want to help other businesses and encourage them to invest in a good website so they too can reap the benefits.”
Clients of eBusiness UK comprise a wide range of companies from high profile blue chip companies and large public sector organisations to hundreds of small and medium size enterprises.
Kam Kothia, eBusiness UK managing director, said: “We are constantly looking for ambitious, dynamic entrepreneurs who exude eBusiness UK’s values and ethics, and we are confident that David and Glenn both fit the profile perfectly.
“After a successful pilot programme in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Bolton, we are determined to grow our market share and establish a true national brand.
“We are focused on strengthening our services and this expansion is another example of our commitment to ensure as many businesses as possible have access to our effective and reliable internet solutions,” added Kam.
Since becoming the first web solutions company to be awarded British Franchise Association approval, eBusiness UK has embarked on an ambitious five year plan to become the first nationally recognised brand in their marketplace through the development of offices nationwide.
Eleven other franchise operations in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland offer all services currently available under the eBusiness UK brand to customers in their own geographical territory.
