A brief history of me...
Originally from Hertfordshire I moved up north from a very young age with my parents. I officially announce myself nowadays as a Northerner now with the accent and loyalty to a certain very famous Manchester football club. My home is in Heapey, Lancashire, which lies on the foothills of Angelzarke moor, and I can often be found walking through the lovely surrounding countryside most weekends with my partner Ann. I have a son Ben, who recently become a teenager, and whose ambition is to be a drummer in a heavy metal rock band, and a daughter Samantha, currently away from home studying at University for a psychology degree.
After an established career for one of Europe's leading protective apparel companies I recently swapped the corporate lifestyle for one in consultancy, which brought me into contact with eBusiness, and now I enjoy helping, advising and consulting with all sorts of organisations and businesses on their own web design and marketing services.

Something you won’t know about me...
By coincidence I have bumped into two very famous politicians and shared a drink with them at the bar. In 1976 I met The Right Honourable Anthony Wedgwood Benn, M.P. who at the time was Minister of State for Industry, at the local pub in Bingley, West Yorkshire. We discussed the prospect of the Berlin Wall being knocked down one day, which of course it was some years later.
Then In 1995 whilst away on business, I stayed in a small bed and breakfast hotel in Boughton Monchelsea, Kent, and chatted with fellow guest The Right Honourable Roy Hattersley, M.P. although on this occasion the main conversation related to football and his beloved Sheffield Wednesday - he also accused me of being born on the wrong side of the Pennines. With my adopted accent I didn't have the will to tell him in fact I was born in Hertfordshire with a Yorkshire Man (like he is) for a Father and a German Mother.
What are these?
